Mas nos amamos tanto que queremos um conselho que nos garanta ficar sempre juntos, que nos assegure estar um ao lado do outro até à morte. Há algo que possamos fazer? E o velho, emocionado ao vê-los tão jovens, tão apaixonados e tão ansiosos por uma palavra, disse: - Há uma coisa a fazer, mas é uma tarefa muito difícil e sacrificada. Tu, Nuvem Azul, deves escalar o monte ao norte da aldeia com apenas uma rede, caçar o falcão mais vigoroso e trazê-lo aqui, com vida, até o terceiro dia da lua cheia. E tu, Touro Bravo, deves escalar a montanha do trono; lá em cima, encontrarás a mais brava de todas as águias. Somente com uma rede deverás apanhá-la, trazendo-a para mim viva! Os jovens abraçaram-se com ternura e logo partiram para cumprir a missão. No dia estabelecido, na frente da tenda do feiticeiro, os dois esperavam com as aves. O velho tirou-as do saco e constatou que eram verdadeiramente os formosos exemplares dos animais que ele tinha pedido. - E agora, o que faremos? Os jovens perguntaram. - Peguem as aves e amarrem uma à outra pelos pés com essas fitas de couro. Quando estiverem amarradas, soltem-nas para que voem livres. Eles fizeram o que lhes foi ordenado e soltaram os pássaros. A águia e o falcão tentaram voar, mas conseguiram apenas saltar pelo terreno. Minutos depois, irritadas pela impossibilidade de voo, as aves arremessaram-se uma contra a outra, bicando-se até se machucarem. Então o velho disse: - Jamais esqueçam o que estão vendo, esse é o meu conselho. Vocês são como a águia e o falcão. Se estiverem amarrados um ao outro, ainda que por amor, não só viverão arrastando-se como também, cedo ou tarde, começarão a se machucar um ao outro. Se quiserem que o amor entre vocês perdure, voem juntos, mas jamais amarrados. Libere a pessoa que você ama para que ela possa voar com as próprias asas. I dont know what scares me the most, the fact that shes ten or that it made her smile//I live amongst strangers in my own house. 2.We pray for the homeless and curse the government for its tax implications. But the zomato orders keep coming//No I will not donate Rs.2 for charity, have you seen the delivery charge? 3.He doesnt care for her bad knees. Shes his wife after all, she should know pleasing his manhood came with a cost. And so she blows up his ego along with his erection//After all, men need to be told theyre big to feel big. 4.Once I saw a man give away all his food to a beggar just to pick up change from his collection. That day I learnt theres no selfless good deed// I guess Joey was right after all. 5.Fairy tales are for children, they said, and your hair almost reach your gentle curves. Lets talk about the bad men who like to tug on that hair//In this world, sex was casual and rape, glorified. . . . As I retire my pen for the night, Im inundated by the words written infront of me. These are voices of a few among the millions that send me their screams.I can only hope my mind grows deaf, fading into the night sky like the stars that seem to be missing tonight. TITLE:- Love in the city scape My hearts a little empty and my friends know I dont know love as love is supposed to be, life never gave in for me to think about the warmth of someone being around other then the pleasant touch of the rainy breeze. Life never stopped for me to think of a person waiting for me other then stopping for a moment to breathe in to reassure myself that its all fine. At sixteen, a young man named Rawly was diagnosed with an incurable neurodegenerative disease and given only a few years to live. He grappled with questions and ideas that most teenagers never face: why am I here? does God exist? Does He even know who I am? After about a year of contemplation, a surgeon practicing thousands of miles away heard of his case and reached out to his family. He wanted to try an experimental surgery in attempt to save his life. With everything to gain he went forward with the surgery, which proved to be massively successful. Still, Rawly had questions that had been stirred up and needed answers. Searching for these answers, he decided to serve a mission at 18. Opening his call, imagining a stateside mission with his health complications, he was shocked to read the words “Cali Colombia”. At his next check up with the surgeon, he voiced his concerns at living in a foreign country so far from US health for 2 years. After telling the doctor that he would be in Cali Colombia, the doctor quickly reassured Rawly, telling him that he was often in Cali Colombia performing similar operations. The doctor said that there was no safer place in the world for Rawly to be besides Seattle, where the surgery was originally performed. Of this experience, Rawly wrote, “It was then I finally recognized that God did know me individually. He is not a static idea of the supreme but a dynamic and powerful influence in our every day life. He loves us more than we give Him credit for and many times directs the currents of life without our noticing.” . When the resurrected Lord came to the Nephites, He asked all to “arise forth and come forth unto” Him. He met with them one by one. Doesn’t that verse give you chills? How long did it take? I’m sure he gave everyone exactly what they needed. To some it was a hug. To others, a shoulder to cry on. To another, words of encouragement. That is the beautiful thing about the atonement, it is “both infinite and intimate.” (Jeffery McClellan) . Jesus knows you. He loves you. He has suffered for you. He knows what you need, right now.
