CELEBRATING 🍰🍰 Afternoon Tea Week 🍰🍰 Afternoon Tea, popularly known as High Tea in Australia (technically high tea is actually something quite different) has been around 180 years, and we have our British pals to thank for it. So how did this all come about? Pretty much the Duchess of Bedford got that afternoon sugar low that all of us at one point have gotten, and requested some sustanance in the form of a tea and snack to be bought up to her bedchamber. This one off then became a daily request. Her friends were invited to enjoy these afternoon gatherings, and they later moved from her bedchamber into the drawing room. The Duchess was also a close friend and personal attendant of Queen Victoria, so whilst she was not the first person to consume an afternoon tea like meal she was the first person to codify what had been an informal activity into a formal meal with established boundaries and etiquette. 🍰🍰 So to celebrate Afternoon Tea week we are launching our Litlle Pleasure Packs available for delivery THIS WEEK ONLY Scone Pack with Jam & Cream Assorted Macaron Pack Chocolate Lovers Pack All $30 each including delivery, because everyone needs a little bit of Afternoon Tea in their life. 🍰🍰 - @thehighteamistress on Instagram

The Golden Girls: The Reason They Always Ate Cheesecake and Which Actor Hated It (duh) Many of the most memorable moments of The Golden Girls involved the ladies sitting around the kitchen table late at night eating cheesecake and gabbing. The writers explained the reason behind why they chose cheesecake (reportedly the actors ate more than 100 cheesecakes over the course of the show) and which actor hated the dessert. https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-golden-girls-the-reason-they-always-ate-cheesecake-and-which-actor-hated-it.html/ #goldengirls #goldengirlsforever #goldengirlsnyc #goldengirlsclub #goldengirlsdrag #goldengirlsart #goldengirlsbarcrawl #goldengirlstanning #goldengirlstrivia #BeaArthur #TYFBAF #Ggnyc #ThankYouForBeingAFriend #AndrewGold #BeatriceArthur #BerniceFrankel #BeaAstralDame #DorothyZbornak #JasonBSchmidt #WorldsPremiereBea #BeaArthurImpersonator #RueMcLanahan #BettyWhite #EstelleGetty #BlancheDevereaux #RoseNylund #SophiaPetrillo - @bea_astral_dame on Instagram
