What that means is that our brain mirrors an observed action and lights up as if it were performing the thing itself. It’s what makes imagery so powerful. Why we cringe at viewing traumatic events. Eating disorders develop from viewing the same body type over and over again. What if we put effort into filling the home with positive affirmations/ experiences could do for a developing child? Enabling the children to relive over and over again of a glorified childhood that screams of I am. I am loved. I am fun. I am brave. Im adventurous. I am unique. I belong. SEXUALITY is a natural part of human nature. But its often viewed as a taboo like nudity. As a nude photographer I recognize that sensual photography is one category. Thats why Ive included a sensual section in my @nudamag digital magazine issues. In the past Ive been scared that people see my photos in a sexual way. Maybe because our society has been told again and again that a decent woman is not supposed to be sexy. But Im not afraid of others opinion anymore, Im excited to have more diversity in my photography. Sensual images can be so beautiful, full of emotion and empowering. Sadly many people (men and woman) are so quick to always judge more revealing kind of photos. Or objectify women and become very disrespectful with their comments. Which is NEVER acceptable under any circumstances. Always respect a woman and her body.
