Back in the twentieth century, if you wanted to know what to watch on TV, you’d turn to a magazine that listed what was on. TV Guide was the most famous, but not the only one. I did a fair number of illustrations in the early nineties for a much lesser-known competitor, TV Time. Most of what I did were teeny-tiny spots, but my favorite job for TV Time was a cover featuring television detectives from the fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties. Why am I posting this today? Because it’s the birthday of one of those cops: Lieutenant Columbo himself, the late Peter Falk! - @sam_viviano_illustrator on Instagram
