I dropped a new blog post for the time code to Crystallize by Eliminate featuring Leah Culver on the NightMode record label on the Eddy Sound website earlier today. It features the embedded video (in case you missed it), a write up about the mindset and process used to approach this project (including an interview with the songs vocalist), and a robust photo gallery of images taken of the looks within the completed piece. This truss structure was one of the more innovative designs weve used to date which made for some incredible fixture positions. Time coding light shows to musical tracks has become a staple in the Eddy Sound warehouse a.k.a., the Lighting Lab while working on COVID-19 Passion Projects. July 17, 2020. David When I look out into to the world through retrospect It’s hard for me to focus on the problems that are conflicting within me. All I can hear is the blues of the inner city roaring from the eyes of covered mouths. It has become difficult for me to live life with the issues that being faced against the world. I am a victim of both pains impacting families across the United States. I lost the greatest figure that a child could lose during this pandemic. Days after the death of George Floyd my father contracted COVID and passed away without the love of a family by his side. Shortly after my fathers death I lost my best friend the next day to an accidental fire. Some people would give up during a time like this but the pain of death has motivated me to become greater for the lives that have been lost so far. Through the grace of God my pain has shaped me into the wonderful man that I am today. With the pain of the world on my shoulders my eyes can now see the world with clarity. As I continue to work endlessly everyday to provide for my family I still put forth an effort to help contribute and mend the broke system that impacts everyone’s livelihood. One of my favorite new steps to a makeup application is adding brown liner in the lower water line. It gives the eye extra oomph while still being a little more soft than black liner. I’ve always hated wearing eyeliner!!! I could never get the right length, angle and width.. it never looked nice on me and I literally accepted the fact I just didn’t look good with a liner. But after seeing so much talent here on instagram and practicing, I’ve found myself trying crazy liner looks and this was one I had to share with you guys!
