esses dias conheci alguém que é a sua cara. que mantém o cabelo da mesma altura. que ouve chico buarque pela manhã e grava vídeos conceituais estudando. cheguei a me interessar num primeiro momento, mas faltou gostar de gatos. e faltar gostar de gatos me lembra que semelhanças são só semelhanças. não era você. mesmo com o mesmo tom de pele e a cara de quem sempre consegue o que quer. e lembrar que ela não é você, me fez pensar no que será que você tem feito. se ainda ouve nossas músicas. se elas ainda são nossas. se naquela outra pessoa você realmente encontrou alguém que se interessa pela sua alma e acha graça nos detalhes dos seus dias. lembra do quanto você se sentia confortável pra me contar bobeiras como o que comeu ou da minha habilidade em, às vezes, te cantarolar as canções que tocavam no estacionamento do mercado pela manhã? que cara você fez quando excluiu meu número? te doeu ou eu já não significava tanto assim? talvez tu ria, mas embora eu tenha deixado de te seguir nas redes sociais, não tive a coragem de apagar seu contato até hoje. e o engraçado é que a gente nem viveu o mínimo pra justificar o teu choro, a minha lágrima presa na garganta que não saiu até hoje – quem sabe seja isso o que te prende aqui, mesmo sem corpo, sem voz, sem cheiro, sem toque. se você olhasse pra trás veria que a porta ainda está aberta, mas o que dizer dessa sua preguiça de se desculpar. dessa sua mania de deixar a vida acontecer sem se segurar em nada. dessa sua burrice de deixar quem te repara ir embora enquanto mantém os que te machucam. hoje um leitor me disse que clóvis de barros filhos falou que a gente não vive as dores das vidas que não viveu e que isso o fez perceber o quanto o arrependimento é uma autossabotagem. e talvez seja isso. toda vez que me arrependo por ter ido embora porque tu me magoou é só o meu coração me sabotando o futuro, tendo uma gestação desse amor psicológico que nunca nasce. eu fui embora, mas foi você que nos abortou. - @livrochorardealegria on Instagram

MANAGING MASTITIS . . Reposted from @earthmamaessence . . Mastitis youre a real fun thief. I love the metaphysics behind mastitis “Milk flows - when our tears flows” ⠀ ⠀ In no particular order / these are some natural ways to support Mastitis. ⠀ ⠀ ~ try & lie with baby as long as possible, skin to skin, allow unrestricted access to the breasts, rest as much as you can. Also changing position of holds ⠀ ~ true mastitis cold packs to the site ⠀ ~ Heat before expressing:feeding. While feeding massage the affected area towards the nipple ... massage in the shower morning & night massaging lumps and or area towards the nipple ⠀ ~ Feed every 2 hours for the first night making sure the breast doesn’t fill/become engorged. Breastfeed as often as possible, but DO NOT neglect its friend (the opp breast) . Offer the breast with mastitis first for most feeds, allow baby to completely drain that breast until offering to the other side. Obviously be careful not to create over supply making sure breast is draining ⠀ ~ double Probiotics (qiara) ⠀ ~ Pokeroot, Echinacea & Calendula tincture @blissful.herbs ⠀ ~ bella donna homeopathics⠀ ~ massage Clary Sage, Lavender, Geranium & Patchouli into affected area giving enough time between feeds to absorb ⠀ ~ take high dose vitamin c ~ Mastitis Blitz tea, compress herbs & massage balm @blissfulherbs⠀ ~ wrap fresh cold grated potato in a clean cotton cloth tie with string or rubber band & apply direct to the breast ⠀ ~ cease placenta tablets until it subsides ⠀ ~ drink a heck load of water I added lemon juice to support flushing of the body - @blissful.herbs on Instagram

I couldn’t agree more with how we treat postpartum women. We need to start treating our new mommas with the same level of care of any other “injury”. Which is why I’m so proud and happy to finally have started our in-house 6 week postpartum series recently. Orthopedic surgeries are also traumas. We treat them very differently 💪 Having had 3 child births and worked in an orthopedic hospital for 7 years, I’ve witnessed first hand the discrepancies between postpartum and post ACL-repair , and I gotta tell you, I get pretty fired up 💕 After I had my children I did not see a PT, I did not learn how to move again, I did not have someone holding my hand every week guiding me through my recovery. There wasn’t anyone telling me what to avoid, how to re-educate my core, and what to do if I hurt still, and that’s just the musculoskeletal stuff. There was also insane hormonal changes, emotional ups and downs, and cardiovascular issues that I had to deal with 💥 After my husband (who I love) had his ACL-R, he was treated 3x/week by a PT for the first two months, he had homework, guided exercise, activity modifications, and taught how to walk. Then he was seen 2x/week for 3 more months to learn how to go up and down stairs, run, scale exercises and activity back if needed. Before I became a mother, I was brainwashed by a society that values individual gain, status, competition & separation. So when I became a mother, the very essence of motherhood opposed all that society had taught me. This contributed to me initially feeling disempowered & inadequate. Society celebrates productivity that CAN be measured. No part of motherhood can be measured, no score recorded & many of it is unseen. I spent hours feeding my baby & many more settling her - both with challenges which at times I felt I was failing. I also spent hours staring at her, lying skin to skin, wondering how I could’ve grown her, bonding & falling deeper in love. Yet going by society’s standards – I wasn’t doing much. If society does not acknowledge, support or value this transformation a mother goes through & the role she has taken on, she often believes she is failing – when measured against society’s values it’s no wonder she feels like this. I now know this was largely contributed to what we all go through - called ‘matrescence’ – the birth of a mother. Much like the transition a child goes through to become an adult – adolescence. The moment a child is born, so is a mother & that mother never existed before. Her body, mind & soul need time & understanding to adjust, transition and transform. The importance of maternal values – compassion, empathy & patience is often unseen, yet is just as important within our society & needs to be talked about openly for our new & to-be mothers. Those feelings of not feeling validated, feeling unseen by society can go on for years, causing decline in mental health. Your reminder mama - you are planting seeds that you may never see, but society will benefit from. Seeds of love, patience, empathy and compassion. You’re not failing, you’re the rock, the cement that holds not only your family together but ripples throughout the whole of society. What you do matters. Look to your child for validation, not society and see the love in their eyes reflected back. Keep staring, loving & cuddling because it all matters & because your motherhood is beyond measure. Как мы находим идеи для съемок?📷 ⠀ Из множества способов найти крутую идею, у меня лично прижился один – простой и действенный: ⠀ ▫️ Всегда сразу записывать все, что приходит в голову. Даже мимолетное и вроде нелепое. Кому-то проще делать заметки в телефоне, а я обожаю использовать блокноты. *Наверное, отдельная мотивашка не забить, а записать – это кайф от самого процесса (красивая обложка, хорошая бумага - ммм) ⠀ ▫️ А когда уже хотите раскрутить идею – садитесь и полчаса пишите любые приходящие мысли. Если не получается, то отдыхаем (желательно не в телефоне) и – снова пишем. ⠀ Вроде бы суперочевидно. Но я понимаю, что осознанно стала так делать, только потому что ее порекомендовал один авторитетный продюсер на одном из обучений. ⠀ И, конечно, еще помогает Pinterest. Особенно если задавать идею, не добавляя в запрос «фотосессия». Так проще искать именно свой путь воплощения. ⠀ Полистали карусель?⬆️ ⠀ Здесь в качестве модели выступила @kateryna_stupakova, а снимать коллегу-фотографа - это всегда немножечко вызов. Хочется найти действительно крутую концепцию. Сейчас пишу, и понимаю, что поиски «того самого образа» заняли у меня почти две недели: варианты рождались и отбрасывались один за другим… ⠀ Но вдруг наткнулась на старое фото женщины, которая развешивает белье и зажглась – то самое! ⠀ Дальше – дело техники: грамотная подготовка для реализации идеи. Отдельная радость, что сейчас крупные проекты мы организуем в команде с @empower_union – оказалось, что когда ты не одиночка, намного проще проводить необычные творческие съемки. ⠀ Наверное, как и любому фотографу, мне важно чувствовать определенную свободу в творчестве.
