Insecurities are probably the only constant in this ever changing world. Be it that paunch you just noticed, the acne, the social anxiety you have or the constant over thinking you do, we all have our fears. But then, whats a human without imperfections? Its our imperfections that make us who we are. To accept our imperfections is the first step in the process of doing away with our insecurities. Spending time with your own self, healing yourself through art are the keystones in a journey to a self empowered self. At the same time, its imperative that we find something we love about ourselves. Is it the way you are good at organising yourself, the way you never lose at a guess game because you have strong instincts? Search for them, the magnitude doesnt matter and brag about them. Unapologetically. Empowering oneself is to accept our flaws and reflect our strengths. To be defined by the society is the biggest wrong you can do to yourself. Go out and enjoy that movie because you want to. Dont let society tell you if its not a conventional one. Read more, and create more. Spend time with yourself and heal through it for we all are manifestation of the cosmic elements. Even moon, a symbol of beauty has spots on it. Love yourself, accept your flaws and brag about your strengths. TAG SOMEONE Have you felt like this? You want closure, you want them to admit they were wrong, you want them to beg? I totally understand where youre coming from. Ive been there too BUT I learned when to stop victimizing myself by holding onto all that sadness and anger. I learned a hard lesson. I found peace of mind within me by accepting things for what they were and letting go of the desire of wanting him to admit he had done me wrong. I stopped looking for that admission of guilt. By doing so, I stopped giving him my power. I stopped focusing my energy on him, and was able to focus that energy on healing myself. Crying helps me slow down and obsess over the weight of lifes problems In movie Inside out Sadness inside Rileys brain says this. It had an profound impact on me because it makes so much sense.
