Duara - Home. Suatu hari di awal bulan Oktober 2019, saya dan @ugaswaz janjian ketemuan makan siang sama senpai @robmr_ dalam rangka menyambut dia baru pulang dari London. Pastinya obrolan berlanjut ngomongin @musikduara. Eh tiba2 si uga ber-ide udaahlah rekam yuk 1 lagu yang cepet, yang gampang aja jadi beberapa hari doang kelar. Robert pun menyauti ehh iya ayok banget. Saya balik tantangin, ok klo gitu rilis tanggal 31 gimana? Gayung tantangan bersambut. Saya lupa, bahwa adik dan senpai saya ini bisa sangat detail oriented (baca: be-em) kalau sudah in the zone. Rekaman pun akhirnya baru dimulai seminggu kemudian karena jadwal masing-masing (uhuk @renitamartadinata uhuk) yang padat. Beruntung sekali ada bala bantuan @desalisme dan @odipurba yang bersedia ditodong mendadak rekaman (di hari yang sama). Sempet deg2an keburu ngga nih, karena alangkah baiknya jika kami yang bukan siapa2 ini dapat mengupload master lagu paling lambat 2 minggu sebelum release date demi kelancaran per-newmusicfriday-an. Sebagai goalkeeper (goal dalam arti gawang dan tujuan) (gileee), cukup bangga dan bahagia lagu ini bisa terilis dan didengarkan oleh khalayak ramai (walaupun akhirnya rilis 1 nov hehe). L’edició d’enguany inclou projectes musicals que van des del pop, fins a la música urban i la world music, tot plegat amanit amb apunts de jazz i experimental. Enguany es destaca la proximitat de les bandes i les propostes musicals que, en molts casos, impulsen teixits 5 associatius i comunitaris de Barcelona, que mereixen l’altaveu històric d’unes festes de la Mercè especials. 4 YEARS OLD TODAY! Time flies when youre having fun eh? Wow that really went fast! We opened on the 15th of April 2016 with nothing more than a vision of what could be and a tiny wonderful team behind the wheels. Dublin was so different back then in 2016, on the brim of exploding as we came out of the financial crisis and things were really starting to move. Our little capital was full of life and roots were being planted all over the sleepy back streets of Dublin, with beautiful new places opening every week and the city overflowing with culture. It seems both surreal and also quite poignant to celebrate being 4 years open on a day we quite rightly have to be closed. It brings home how lucky we are to have had these 4 fantastic years, to have met all our wonderful staff (friends would more accurate!), super supportive and friendly customers (both local and from a far), and the hard working and dedicated producers who supply us week in and week out with top notch bits and bobs. Thinking back to the early days we could not have imagined how our little cafe would surpass any visions we had, and thats all thanks to you. 20 years ago today the classic @kylieminogue single On A Night Like This was released and one of the b sides which this was a lovely little song called Ocean Blue . Written in a tiny room attached to the maintenance office at @realworldstudios by myself, Kylie and Carl Mann (who played guitar in her band for Intimate And Live ) and mixed in Studio 1 there by @alanbremner as the sun came up of the beautiful village of Box. It was our last day and it was the last song to mix but it felt so perfect with its gorgeous guitars and Mazzy Star inspired reverbs. - @mrsteveanderson on Instagram
