Gotta love some mud motos! Bummer that both @waltonraceway rounds were full quagmires but I feel like I’ve become a much better mud rider since I’ve been here. Living in Southern California, the only time I have ever ridden anything like this is in race situations back East and it’s very rare. It’s cool to notice my comfort level rise in it over the last couple weeks. Both motos had some top 5s deep into the race but unfortunately my bike didn’t last both times. Been a while since I did an actually moto race. Came out behind @darryndurham which I thought was decent considering it was a soft uphill start against 450’s with only an @fmf73 pipe and silencer as far as speed upgrades to the stock KTM 250cc #2stroke. Also @rg3suspension and @throttle_syndicate graphics.. but didn’t make it very far before running out of talent. Big thanks to everyone who came out to @pleasure_valley_raceway .. It was another awesome event and it’s really cool for me to see it grow every year. SAND DEL LEE #2: Sand del lee was definitely a battle for me and my @rockstar_otsff_yamaha team this past weekend. Saturday in qualifying I looped out in the roller section and destroyed my bike, broke my frame and so much more damage. The team worked their A$$ off to get me out for moto 1 where I eventually finished in 7th but unfortunately with 2 laps to go came together with a lapper (my fault) and broke my big toe and dislocated the toe beside it. Tried to rest up as much as I could saturday evening and luckily on Sunday @filthyphil54 let me barrow his left boot so I could race. I tried my hardest on Saturday as it was very difficult to shift but we pulled off a 7-6-7 for 7 O/A on the weekend and tied for 6th O/A on the season. I’m happy with how most of today went! Qualified p10, moto 1 I finished p9 which are my first top ten finishes in the world championship. Unfortunately In race two I was running in 7th and I went down twice hurting my leg and my hand that I broke over the summer a little, I finished but it wasn’t that good of a result. We race here in Mantova again on Tuesday. I’m ready to put two good motos in! Il Campionato del Mondo FIM Motocross 🌍 🏁 si prepara per un altro triplo italiano, anche se questa volta a Mantova con l MXGP di Lombardia Domenica 27, l MXGP di Città di Mantova mercoledì 30 e l MXGP dellEuropa il 4 ottobre. Questa volta però i piloti del Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross saranno affiancati anche dal Campionato Mondiale Motocross Femminile , così come i piloti EMX250 , che cercheranno il proprio successo durante il trio di gare italiano. Nella classe EMX250 tutti gli occhi saranno puntati su Thibault Benistant di Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing, il ragazzo da battere in testa al campionato con 38 punti di vantaggio sul pilota Husqvarna Junior Racing Maddii Mattia Guadagnini e Isak Gifting che si è recentemente unito alla Diga Procross GasGas Factory Juniors squadra. Here is a little bit more on Amanda; “Ok, I am from Canon City, Colorado and still live there (I didn’t really have a choice to live here because I am 14…). I am a freshman in high school and I am on the varsity team for cross country, I play on a traveling girls soccer team, race mountain bikes for our MTB association, and I love skiing. Moto has played a huge roll in my life because I have been riding since I was 3 and racing since I was 7. It has been the biggest focus of my life and I have put everything into racing. My favorite part of racing is meeting new people, hanging out with my friends and traveling all over the country. Most people do not understand how much I have put into racing and how much it impacts my life, even my school friends don’t always support and agree when I talk about motocross. But, at the end of the week when I get to go to the track, I know my racing friends all understand the risk and dedication it takes to race and ride. This community just makes me want to go racing more. I love taking my dog (Bananas) to the track, walking him around the Pits, and going to restaurants with my friends between motos. I love the GRT crew and everything they do and I hope we can continue growing and inspiring other girls to come out and ride. Thibault MAUPIN a pu participer à la deuxième manche suite au forfait d’un pilote, Il termine 31ème. Auteur dun excellent départ en première manche EMX250 à Mantova, Tom GUYON termine à une belle quatrième place. Millville observations- first off let me say that I love that place. My kids have raced there many times. It’s a beautiful property. Amazing track and John and Greta Martin are some of the nicest track owners there are. I used to do some camps up there. I even got to work with Jeremy when he was on superminis. Best entry speed I have ever seen. With that being said, the track looked as good as ever. And honestly this was the best racing so far this year. And I only watched the 2nd motos. Ferrandis and Jeremy put on a hell of a show. And the AC, sexton baggett race was also pretty sick. How do we re-create that more often? Because that’s what people want to see. The @wwranchnationalmx Pro National was a huge step in the right direction. For it being my 3rd ever @promotocross race, we made some big improvements and learned a lot. Track was awesome and had so much fun out there, fell short of making main but figured a lot of things out to improve on for the next one. Had a good gate pick for the LCQ but caught in a first lap crash that pushed us way back and out of contention. Just gotta get my excitement and nerves under control so I can ride to my full potential. This hasn’t fully sunk in yet, but what a year it was for me moving up to the 450 class and trying to fill the boots of my amazing teammate @coltonfacciotti on the @hondamotoca @gdrhonda @foxracingcanada team. I knew going into the offseason that this was going to be a huge transition and one that would take a lot of work! With countless hours of work on and off the bike, I knew heading into this season that the team and I had put in our best effort in order to capture this championship when the season ended. I feel that we as a team executed the job as good as we possibly could and that it showed this season. To win this championship in my rookie season is nothing short of a dream come true and I am so happy to do it along side such amazing people. Even though fans weren’t allowed at the races, all of your support didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you to everyone involved with our amazing team, to my family and to my fans. 2nd again behind @quinncody , got a killer start in the top 8 of the B line.. i rode as hard as physically possible and felt great all day, over the bars twice, one of which was about 40mph through silt and a nice cartwheel(the one that you get up from and wonder how), got up dazed and charged harder than ever and ended up 2nd, not bad for a construction worker that only gets to ride at races! 💪🏁 my @scramblerducati is a beast! Back in the Honda days. The 2009 CRF 450 was not a favorite for riders but I was able to come up with a setting that made me really happy with this bike. I thought it looked cool also. This weekend in Kamloops was crazy I ended up having a super gnarly crash in my first intermediate moto that resulted in me being knocked out for 3 minutes then having a collapsed lung with a broken collar bone and some broken ribs. I though I might miss racing more but working with the @gdrhonda team has helped with that from Dylan winning multiple races and championship, tanner getting his first win and the young buck showing some serious speed. The results may not show but kept improving this weekend, will clean up some mistakes and it will be really good • Bent my rear rotor first moto so had no rear brake for half the race then second moto I took a digger. Du côté de Saad SOULIMANI prise d’expérience en catégorie Europe 250 qui ne parvient pas à passer le cap des qualifications. Thibault MAUPIN ne passe pas aux chronos et devra retenter dès Mardi lors de la seconde épreuve. Tom GUYON réalise un bon début de course en première manche avant de chuter. Plus de peur que de mal, notre pilote a pu repartir en piste pour la seconde manche auteur d’un bon départ il termine en 4ème position. Auteur d’une bonne première manche avec une 13ème place, malheureusement lors de la deuxième manche Mike chute avec un autre pilote, le bilan est lourd ... fracture du fémur. This season was a big season for me. Moving up into the 450 class, I knew I had my work cut out for me. I knew that there would be so much hard work to be put in on and off the bike in order to be successful. As soon as the ink was dry on my new contract with the team, every single person in this photo and even many more that aren’t in this photo (trainer, sponsors, families, organisations, basically everyone involved with our team\family) put their absolute best foot forward to make this amazing dream come true. Now this didn’t come without some blood, lots of sweat and I ain’t gonna lie, there were some tears. But thanks to everybody involved and the hard work and dedication that I and this great group of people put in, we were able to achieve my life long goal! From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you for everything.
