Goiânia registrou, nas últimas 24 horas, 43 casos confirmados de Covid-19, de acordo com o boletim epidemiológico da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS). Com isso, a capital agora conta com 736 infectados. Destes, 402 ainda estão sob investigação epidemiológica. Ou seja, o resultado deu positivo, não precisou de internação e é tentado contato com o paciente, que está com alguma discrepância, como ter preenchido os dados incorretamente, por exemplo. . Ainda de acordo com o boletim, 22 mortes foram confirmados pela doença na capital. Do total de casos confirmados, 397 são mulheres e 339 são homens. Os maiores infectados, que correspondem 41%, estão na faixa etária de 20 a 39 anos. Logo em seguida, vem os pacientes que têm entre 40 a 59 anos, que somam 36% do total de infectados. . Os casos de investigações concluídas somam 334. Destes, 229 não necessitaram de internação e 105 tiveram que ficar internados. Com isso, 77 foram admitidos em hospitais privados e 28 na rede pública. 60% desses pacientes necessitaram de Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI). O boletim destaca que 274 pessoas já foram curadas, apenas 13 continuam internadas e 25 estão em observação através do isolamento domiciliar. . Bairros com mais casos O Setor Bueno é o bairro com o maior número de casos em Goiânia: 73 confirmações. Em seguida vem o Setor Oeste com 57 e o Jardim Goiás com 25. As we approach the mid point of Hair Loss Awareness Month, it is worth remembering that sometimes hair loss on the scalp can be associated with excess hair on the upper lip, chin and other parts of the body in conditions like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Have you met our Dr. Pimple Popper Heather yet? She never has time to take a proper photo because she is always working so heres one of her working away at what she does best! Heres a little bit about this gem. Heather moved here from Summerland in 2011 so that she could go to Kosmetae Academy. Her youngest son and her started school at the same time! How cool is that. She graduated in September 2012 as a Medical Aesthetician and started at European Day Spa and Salon in October at the Abbotsford location. Since then, she has had many opportunities to do advanced laser training and many other Medical Aesthetics treatments! Did you know she also taught laser at Kosmetae academy also? If you were a student of hers, click like and say HELLO! What is your favorite treatment to offer? If I had to pick a favorite service to do, I would say Fractional C02. Very satisfying. Although I love to see how good a pedicure makes people feel so good! Heather believes that pain is beauty and if youve had a treatment with her you can swear by this. 😜 What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I love reading, watching real crime shows and finding cool hidden lakes with my 2 boys. I love long summery walks by the beach or lake with my birds. Cool facts about you? Hygiene- Environmental Services use a specially selected disinfectant that non-toxic and is even safe to use in food preparation areas but more importantly kills 99.9999% of ALL bacteria and viruses - including COVID-19. Welcome your “new normal” 🤪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑒: the way I studied during undergraduate definitely did not translate over to dental school. Don’t be afraid to explore new ways to study (whether if it’s alone, with friends, on your ipad, handwritten , etc.)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ 𝐹𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑤𝑡ℎ: don’t ever compare yourself to your classmates. Everyone is in a different part of their dental journey, and there’s no reason to feel like you’re not “good enough.” We all start somewhere. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ 𝐷𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑓𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑓𝑜𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝! Most dental schools (to my knowledge) have some sort of Big-little system set up. ASK them for advice if you need any! They’ve been through everything you’ve been through— so more likely than not, they’ll have some decent advice on how to survive 👍🏼😬⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One last thing: ✨ 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛 ✨ dental school is way better when you have a best friend to experience it with. You’re going to go through a lot of ups... and 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑡 of downs. It’s more bearable when you have a person you can lean on 👩🏻🤝👩🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🙌🏼Good Luck and keep grinding. Chiropractic Techniques are a collection of treatments concerned with manipulating musculoskeletal and nervous systems for improved posture, mobility and pain management. Our chiropractor, Dr. Kalsi began her experience with chiropractic when she was a teenager and was experiencing low back and foot pain. After witnessing the benefits of chiropractic care, she decided that becoming a chiropractor was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She began her journey as a chiropractor at New York Chiropractic College in January of 2012, where she graduated in March 2015 with Summa Cum Laude honours and as valedictorian of her class.
