Hola cómo están, yo acá peinada para la ocasión, sin maquillaje ni filtros para contarles que finalmente me animé a volcar mi conocimiento en las nuevas tecnologías enseñando a distancia. Es un desafío porque disfruto muchísimo del vínculo que se genera en el trato presencial con el/la alumno/a y el ida y vuelta en esa enseñanza, pero buscar nuevas formas de comunicación y darle un giro positivo a las circunstancias es parte del recorrido y del aprendizaje. Mis inicios como maquilladora hace más de 20 años, fueron de la mano de La Roche Posay quien me capacitó en maquillaje dermatólogico o dermocorrector y cosmetología, aplicando el maquillaje como correctivo terapéutico en pacientes con enfermedades dermatológicas y cicatrices. En paralelo comencé mi práctica de yoga y meditación tanto el linaje indio como tibetano, con un estudio profundo en Maha Yoga (las 8 ramas del yoga), este estudio incluye el Ayurveda (medicina tradicional india). De ésta forma y luego de un largo recorrido personal pude volcar mi parte creativa en el maquillaje audiovisual y redireccionar la parte terapéutica dentro de la filosofía oriental. Estoy trabajando con diferentes módulos teórico prácticos virtuales en donde enseño técnicas basadas en ayurveda para que puedan de forma natural incorporar hábitos de cuidados en salud y belleza. #ChallengeAccepted Magic happens when women support women. (To be fair, magic happens when people support people but we’re talking specifically about women here.) Instead of posting a black-and-white photo of myself, I chose to post black-and-white photos of the four women whose help, support and love were instrumental in getting me back on stage. L-R @xrysa_katsarini fellow comedian and one of my closest friends, she came up with the idea of and put together a fundraising show “V for Vrana” to help cover my medical expenses. She also helped me put together my new show, made notes and wrote down the show template as I couldn’t read or write at the time. @vasso_sotiriou_we_will my wonderful PR manager who helped organise the fundraising show, fielded all press enquiries while I was in hospital, and did a kick-ass job of promoting my new show. @jennybotsi my theatrical mother since high school, she helped me find a venue, introduced me to loads of extremely helpful people in Greek show business and was at the show EVERY NIGHT (Even though she had early morning filming the next day) checking the show template and shouting out corrections and reminders when needed as I had to memorise the whole show without ever having previewed it. @katsandri.fotini my nurse in hospital and my carer at home. She looks after my well-being and didn’t bat an eyelid when I asked her to perform on stage with me. She has been with me every step of the way since I came out of the ICU. She is my rock, my friend, the best side-kick ever, Mushu to my Mulan, Donkey to my Shrek. These 4 women’s help, support and love both professionally and as friends have been phenomenal and invaluable. THANK YOU, LADIES!!! I couldn’t have done it without you. I have kept it on my desk and think of her every time I see it! I love her #plasticsurgerybeforeandafter, she went from 65 to 45!!! I am so excited about how youthful and rejuvenated she looks, and I LOVE how defined and beautiful her jawline and neck looks!!! I love how she pulls her hair back in confidence because the incision are not visible after her surgery. She was worried about her dropping #jawline, #jowls, fallen cheeks and #platysmabands and tired eyes. She had extremely wrinkling and crepey neck skin that she hated. I performed a #deepplanefacelift #necklift #platysmaplasty and lower #blepharoplasty and simultaneous fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing for wrinkles. Never did I ever think I would get to be a guest on one of my favorite podcasts of all time Why Won’t You Date Me!!!
