It’s got JJ written all over it... Someone used that line as an insult towards me. The first few times I read that, it really did upset me. It’s a reminder that no matter what you do some people always see you in a certain way, they will always have an unconscious bias and will always treat you a certain way. They see you as a ‘stupid’ #dyslexic , a broken person because of your #mentalhealth and worst because of your skin colour. These individuals tend to see your uniqueness as “the other”. They seem to have forgotten that so many awesome things in the world, including Captain Planet, the Megazord and Voltron can only be created when you put your differences aside and learn to work together. And to quote Taytay “haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate...” And they will. They will chip away at you and try to take you down, bit by bit. But you can counteract this... Treat others with respect, try and have integrity in yourself and your actions, think about the service you can offer others, try to be an excellent human being and just as importantly try to leave those around you better than when you found them... touched up the tune on a bigger turbo BK2 2.0 recently. ran out of injector on E85, but still managed a few more horsepower and torque everywhere. and almost 20ft/lbs peak! besides injectors, the big limiting factor on this build is the stock TCU. customer is only able to rev to 6400. with our TCU tune (coming in a few weeks) he’ll be able to lengthen the power band and will easily pick up 20+ whp just with the extra revs! - @alphaspeedmw on Instagram

A few weeks ago I decided to stop some bad habits and get into a better routine. I’m approaching 40 years on earth so set myself the challenge to run 40 different 10k routes in 40 days, and today is my 17th consecutive day running at least 10km a day; nearly half way to my goal. If you’d told the old me (an asthmatic lifelong smoker who drank too much) a few years ago that this might be possible I’d never have believed you. Life seems scary at the moment and it’s easy for our minds to spiral out of control. I still get anxious, but running helps me a lot. Recently, Ive felt quite disappointed with the ridicule or belittling of some real teams and drivers of the sim racing community as they resume their racing activities, whether that be F1, GT or other disciplines. So in the world of motorsport, there are two things that primarily define the value of drivers and teams. That is money and results. So in response, I thought I would post the career highlights of the GT Academy graduates and let the real drivers and teams see their real world achievements. To know that the skills we have learnt, through thousands of hours of practice, attainment of knowledge and application of it, is highly transferable to the real thing, some might even argue much more so than karting. So this is my message to the real world teams and drivers. Dabei wurde natürlich auch dieses Jahr viel Hockey gespielt und es wurde intensiv trainiert, dennoch gab es auch zwischendurch die Gelegenheit für die ein oder andere Aktivität neben dem Hockeyplatz. So durfte jede Teilnehmerin und jeder Teilnehmer eine eigene Flagge gestalten und ein Logo entwerfen. Auch wenn die Wetterfee an dem ein oder anderen Tag nicht komplett auf unserer Seite stand, haben wir das Beste daraus gemacht, denn es gab auch genug Ideen für schlechtes Wetter. Während sich die eine Gruppe während des Regens unters Dach versteckte, um ihrer Kreativität beim Malen und Basteln freien Lauf zu lassen und das ein oder andere Gesellschaftsspiel spielte, hat die andere Gruppe die Gelegenheit für ein Rutschtraining genutzt. Auch wenn die Sonne oft eher hinter den Wolken versteckt blieb, war es meist trocken und sogar der ein oder andere Sonnenbrand hat sich eingeschlichen. Als Ersatz für das Zelten, das dieses Mal leider nicht stattfinden konnte, wurden alle Kinder am Donnerstagabend nochmal eingeladen den Abend gemeinsam am Platz zu verbingen. Neben dem ein oder anderen Spiel neben dem Platz, wie Pantomime mit Hockey-Begriffen, wurde am späteren Abend auch noch eine kleine Runde Flutlicht-Hockey gespielt. Insgesamt konnten wir das Camp an der frischen Luft genießen und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß. An dieser Stelle auch nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an alle Teilnehmer. 2019 has been rough so far to say the least... Ive had very little free time the last year or so and once I finally got some free time this happened: Unavoidable rock the size of my head in the middle of my lane... I had absolutely nowhere to go; traffic in the opposite lane, tight shoulder with a downhill drop off to my right and a moron tailgating me. Faced with no possible positive outcomes I tried to straddle it and hoped for the best. The best did not happen. Ruined oil pan, damaged front lower cross member, and a cracked front bumper among the list of casualties. Theres been some frustrating things happen in the process of getting her fixed but finally, a month later, shes in good hands at @viperexchange with @1flatout1 and @v10tech1 Not how I wanted to visit these guys and Viper Exchange for the first time but Im grateful to finally have my car there. PS thanks to all of the people that pulled over to check on us. No nos respetan, no les importa la comuna ni protegerla pues venir aquí en esta situación, es mirarnos en menos. So where do I begin... SATURDAY, I bought a $500 used t5 that seemed to be in great shape (it wasnt) and spent all day resealing it and assembling it to install it in the car, @leoalvaradoo came and SAVED THE DAY, drove 45 minutes on a moments notice with no hesitation to come help me out with it🙏🏻 I got it installed and on the trailer and after mounting tires I had the shop closed and left at like 3am 🙃 got to osw the next day no issues w/ @jasonbelina and started the day off hot until.... torque arm comes loose and is smacking the ground sending sparks every time I grab the hydro. I’ve dislocated my shoulder SIX times and have had TWO surgeries on it! But in spite of all of that, shoulders have become one of my favorite parts of my body to workout because of these movements and how strong my shoulders have become. - - I’ve done some serious damage to my shoulders throughout my years in high school sports and not properly going through all of the rehab my shoulder needed. But with proper knowledge and help I haven’t had any serious injuries to my shoulder since my senior year of high school 10 YEARS ago AND I’m doing a lot more riskier and challenging things with my shoulders today. . - - I take pride in what @strongfirst, Arrosti, Art of Strength, @onnit, and other friends have taught me to achieve. Many have contributed to helping me find the strength I used to have in my shoulder prior to the injuries/surgeries AND to come back even STRONGER than before! Through proper rehab, mobility, and strengthening I’ve learned to make overhead exercises a strength of mine instead of a weakness. This was a small portion of what I like to implement during shoulder and upper-body focused days. That’s a 100lb dumbbell if you were curious. I haven’t done a Turkish get up in four months prior to this day and I started with this weight going into the get up.
