For Wittgenstain language is a form of life, because the way we use it is always a reflection of our individual experiences, habits and skills. Wollheim makes the same point as Wittgenstain but in relation to works of art, he states that artists are conditioned by their context- their beliefs, histories, emotional dispositions, physical needs and communities- and the world that they interpret is a world of constant change. What I seek in my work is a crack in the rules made by power. It’s there, a possibility of healing a community through the wounds appear through art? Those visual wounds are important for me to describe, even when knowing that they spill drops of anguish for some observers. History does not belong to us but we belong to it and we can make a change. Using my visual work I hope that the silent majority will use their own ethics and morals to change this very evil path made by Catholic priests. #art #weallhuman #pornographi #sex #dionisys #equality #danishart #design #Painting #holly #church #temple #mosque #synagoghe #god #religion #morality #ethicalvalues #sexualdesire #evaristtistudios #phallos #ego #narcissists #sisyphos #architechture #designing #artwork #love - @evaristtistudios on Instagram

Bobby Fischer : “You know I’m finished with the old chess because it’s all just a lot of book and memorization you know” The problem with Old Chess is that players have been able to memorise the various opening moves and closing moves within the restrictions of the game, meaning that it’s players with the best memories who win and when two such players meet the game inevitably ends in a draw. #guardianchess #chess #fairchessforthenewera #newgeneration #chess10x10 - @guardianchess_official on Instagram

Who is the REAL Hopper of the Crossing? ⠀⠀ Enticed by news of the Australian Gold Rush Stephen Hopper with his brother John emigrated from Kent, England in 1856 and set sail for Melbourne, Victoria to strike gold. ⠀⠀ After 3 years on the goldfields Stephen (28) met & married Elizabeth (Betsy) Rogers (16). They had one of the only houses for miles around on a small farm in Werribee (aka Hoppers Lane) and together had eleven children. ⠀⠀ The history books tell us Hoppers Crossing was named after Stephen Hopper … before any highways had been laid or estates had been built. ⠀⠀ It’s said that he’d be up at all hours, opening and closing the gates for passing carts – keeping Skeleton Creek connected. ⠀⠀ But history got it wrong! ⠀⠀ The Australian Railway historical society unearthed documents that showed it was indeed Betsy Hopper who was the Gatekeeper and Stephen was the Ganger who looked after a section of the track. ⠀⠀ The namesake of Hoppers Crossing is actually a pioneering mother of 11 children and one of the very few female railway employees of her time! 🙋🏻♀️ ⠀⠀ She played an integral role as the gatekeeper for the only route through Skeleton Creek, and established a family and community in the area, where descendants of her children are still known to reside. ⠀⠀ #locallegends ⠀⠀ *First pic shown is grandson of Stephen & Betsy also known as Stephen Hopper with his 7 children in 1924. ⠀⠀ Sources 📖: ⠀⠀ •Star Weekly •The Willis Tree|Julie Hopper - (Great great Grand daughter) •Wyndham History - @thevillage_hoppersjunction on Instagram

September 1943. Waarom? En wat deed hij al die tijd?
