- Definitely not expecting this to be of any great quality but as a novice tea drinker I have been pleasantly surprised with my first two sessions. Bai Mu Dan from Valley of Tea (Amazon.com). 5g leaf, 180ml water/pour, 185 degrees F. Steep time 5s - 1 min.

- Went on a journey tonight with my first Da Hong Pao. Huiwei bei blew my mind. Don’t know the info on cultivar so I can’t say this is not a lesser quality blend but I can tell you it was the most complex tasting tea I have ever had. Each round completely different.
