That concrete tsunami rising on the horizon is 1980s large scale collective housing in the New Civic Centre of Bucharest, Romania, a dystopian project engulfing ~20% of downtown. Smaller buildings at the front are a surviving enclave from the 1930s at one end of the Jewish Quarter, which was mostly destroyed. Art Déco, interwar Modernism or local Neoromanian styles mixed very well here. Were right where the demolitions stopped, at the border between old Bucharest and its totalitarian-shaped surrogate. i’m scared to live a life without pain and darkness. i’m not sure how a life like that even feels. the truth is i have spent years mourning the loss of the happy girl i once was that now it’s gotten to the point where i no longer seem to know what happiness truly means. i guess maybe that’s why, i am constantly searching for reasons to not be happy; it’s like the thought of being happy just doesn’t make sense within my mind. i wish it did but how can it when my mind is full of scars and memories from battles i have fought that have broken me. i know it probably sounds so stupid that i am trying to hold onto a sadness which has ruined me completely but i guess it’s because this is the only thing i really know. it’s the only thing i can be so sure of staying. i have spent years fighting to hold on to the rails of life whilst this agonising pain tries to drown me to my death. this pain is the only thing that has stayed through everything. but it wasn’t always like this. i remember a time where i was so full of life. i was happy and believed that was how i would forever be. i was so innocent and naive to think that would be my forever. because it wasn’t. one day a deadly storm came, stealing away viciously from me the life i once had and in the process i lost myself completely. i don’t even know who i am anymore. all i know is that i’m not the woman i once was. instead i’m just some broken mess waiting for her life to be over in hope of maybe finally finding some peace, in her death. - 3am.wordss - @3am.wordss on Instagram

Current situation in San Francisco 💔🤯🔥💨 I woke up this morning and thought I was seeing a magical orange sunrise at dawn but it was actually 8am. It’s now 2pm and the sky is still dark. This is climate change. The second and third largest fires in California history are burning right now while the Gulf of Mexico is seeing its first ever twin hurricanes. This will be our new normal unless we shift. And the reality is that time is not on our side. We need all hands on deck!!!! I beg you to please take a moment today to contemplate how you can be of service to the shift that needs to happen in this world. Contemplate your personal actions, those of your business, family and community. Think about your privileges, your network, your power and influence. How can you use these things to create catalyst for positive change? It’s time we all step in to leadership roles and examine the ways in which we can all be responsible for creating a better world. It won’t all happen at once and we have a lot of dismantling to do - of power, oppressive systems and fear. But now is the time to start. Initially a new piece of time has occurred between us but see this, two years appears like yesterday and folding ball inked papers into my chest pocket and the obvious roar of your bullet. Shy wimps of love sick birds flap wings under my stomach and the stranded memory of you antidotes the nesting hunger. I studied the stars from the books of my library (no hints), aquarius and gemini (me) are ideally matched. Maybe the Universe isnt itself able to separate the truths from lies, for maybe I was carried away for a few seconds of the eyes and thats why I stop myself from romanticism of boys like you beacuse ours was revolving around the eyes.
