CLOSE-GRIP BENCH PRESS, 30-10-30 – Do one set of 8 to 12 reps, using the 30-10-30 style. (30 second negative, 10 regular reps, 30 second negative… all in the same set.) . Youre going to need a clock, timer, or training partner to keep count for you. Select a weight thats about 30% less than what youd normally use in the bench press. Example: If you normally bench 250 pounds for 10 reps, use 180. . • Begin lowering the bar very slowly. You need to be halfway down at 15 seconds and almost touching your chest at 25 seconds. Take the remaining 5 seconds to lower it completely, lightly touching your chest at exactly 30 seconds. Reverse the motion and press the bar to the top position in 1-2 seconds. . • Now do 10 normal reps, taking 3 to 4 seconds to lower the bar and pushing the bar back up in 1 to 2 seconds. . • Pause at the top of the 10th rep and get ready for an all-out, final 30-second negative. Fight through it. Hold it for 5 seconds and then lower it one-half inch. Hold for another 5 seconds and lower it another half inch. Listen to your spotter and dont give up until the count hits 30. . These have been hard times for me. Online school kicking my butt (music classes should NOT be online cmon teachers cut me some slack), out of control mental health, feeling lonely from loss of seeing friends, and not even having the usual motivation and drive to do the things that make me the happiest. Ive been feeling knocked down. But, I really felt love today. Love from my family, and love from my friends. I feel love of strangers in a world that is both seemingly falling apart, and coming together. But mostly, I feel the love of my Savior. Its because of Him and His Atonement that I know I CAN take those steps to get back up again, and come out of this quarantine stronger than I was before. Lamborghini Countach LP5000S RHD 12654 in black with panna (cream) with a rear wing, was supplied new via Portman Lamborghini on 1st June 1984 to Barry Peng. This car is one of two nearly identical low mileage black RHD Countach LP5000Ss - the other being XEC457Y without a rear wing (see previous post). This car appeared for sale in 2010 with 4,094 miles and one owner, and has been well maintained by several reputable Lamborghini specialists. By 2015, the car was owned by Tom Hartley Junior. I took this photo at the Ferrari Owners’ Club Concours at Brocket Hall in 1990. If anyone has any more photos from that day I would be very interested. The car is currently for sale at Kaaimans International showing 5,500 miles.
